Sheriff Bellotti Talks About Project Lifesaver

“I’m proud to serve as the Massachusetts statewide coordinator for Project Lifesaver because this program truly does save lives.

 “Project Lifesaver helps people with Alzheimer’s disease or autism or any medical condition that causes a tendency to wander away from home and become lost. If the person is wearing the Project Lifesaver electronic bracelet, we can locate them quickly by using sophisticated electronic tracking equipment.

“Finding them quickly is the key, especially in our region with its harsh New England winters and fast-changing weather throughout the year. In each and every search situation that we’ve been involved in since teaming up with Project Lifesaver in 2004, the person has been found in 30 minutes or less.

“And now that LoJack/SafetyNet has become a local partner with Project Lifesaver, our equipment has cutting-edge technology that keeps your loved ones as safe as they can possibly be.”
